I started this thing called “The Notebook Collective.” it is for anyone wanting to be part of a creative project, aspiring artists, professional artists, writers, poets, photographers… anyone really. I asked people to give their name/address/ email and I organized a mailing list public to only those involved. I made a mailing route for a traveling art notebook and each person gets 3-5 days to work on a page before they send it to the next person on the list. the “Hope From The Forgotten Woods “notebook has 30 stops around the U.S. and as far as the Czech Republic. It’s a social project as well as a human communications project.

“Hope From The Forgotten Woods” is my artistic call for humanity to stop giving into the greedy destructive human nature and re-bond with the earth and give thanks in return for all that she has given. All of the artwork will be laid out with the artist’s contact info and credit and printed on a large fold out poster (100% recycled of course) to be included with my upcoming record release, ‘Hope From The Forgotten Woods’.

Through The Notebook Collective, We hope to inspire more creative thinking and doing, and prove that people are still capable of communicating, interacting, helping eachother and working together.
